Focus on Denmark and Mexico, Jørgen Leth and Asger Leth at Masterclass
Every year, DocPoint explores new areas in the festival programme in co-operation
with documentary film festivals around the world. In 2007 DocPoint focuses on
Denmark and Mexico. The selections have been made in co-operation with CPH:DOX
(Copenhagen) and DOCSDF (Mexico City). Film makers from both countries will arrive
to the festival.
DocPoint’s guest of honour is the legendary Danish director Jørgen Leth. Leth and
his son Asger Leth, director of the acclaimed debut documentary Ghosts of Cité
Soleil, will collaborate and give a DocPoint Masterclass together. The event will be
a unique and unprecedented public dialogue by two generations of film makers.
