Finland Post Mortem

What does the Finland after school shootings look like through the eyes of young people? What do they wish to show or tell us, through words and images?

Suomi Post Mortem documentary film workshop was organised in Kauhajoki in the autumn of 2009. Local students directed four short films about how they themselves experienced the school shootings and the time following them. These films are now to be seen at a screening at Kiasma, where also the makers of the films are present. The screening is followed by a short discussion.

Sat 30th of Jan, 3pm–4.30pm
Seminar room, Museum of Contemporary Art Kiasma (Mannerheimintie 2)
The language of the event is Finnish, no English subtitles. Free entry.
