Between Dreams

The early hours of the morning are translucent. As the Trans-Siberia train rattles on across Russia, some passengers sleep while others smoke in the aisles. Frosty trees flash behind windows. The description of the passengers’ dreams forms a soundtrack for the night.

The award-winning Between Dreams is a fragile depiction of the limbo found between sleep and wake. When the train stops at the station in the morning, some dreams become reality.
